Rev. Dr. Michael Peck - Holy Cross Lutheran Church

Pastor Mike has been serving as Senior Pastor at Holy Cross since May of 1998. He is a graduate of the University of Kansas (Rock Chalk, Jayhawk!), Wartburg Theological Seminary in Dubuque, Iowa, and Luther Seminary in St. Paul, Minnesota, where he graduated with distinction with a Doctor of Ministry in Congregational Mission and Leadership. Before joining Holy Cross, Pastor Mike served congregations in Leonardville, Olsburg, and Prairie Village, KS. His ministry is driven by a profound desire to see the people of God fully embrace the radical claims of baptism and recognize their vital role in God's mission to heal our world. Pastor Mike is happily married to Lisa, and together they have two grown sons, Nathan and Joshua. They are also proud grandparents, always eager to share photos of their beloved granddaughter. Pastor Mike is an avid and often injured runner, a frustrated golfer, and lover of craft beer. He enjoys reading, gardening, and spending time at Lisa's family farm in northwest Missouri.
